Powered by People just held organizing events in McKinney, College Station, and Waco—three Texas communities where Donald Trump won big in 2024.

• McKinney (Trump +11): we recruited 22 new candidates to run for local office and 67 new volunteers joined our movement.
• College Station (Trump +25): we recruited 12 new candidates and 21 new volunteers signed up to fight for their communities.
• Waco (Trump +30): we recruited 16 new candidates and 32 new volunteers committed to organizing on the ground for change.

These are places that pundits like to write off. But we know better. Every conversation, every candidate, every volunteer moves us closer to turning the tide here in Texas—and that’s exactly what happened at these three events.
