It’s important to him that we’re good stewards of your contributions. It’s a big deal to invest your hard-earned money in a political campaign.
So before we ask you to give again, we wanted to be transparent about how we’d spend what you give to this email.
If you chip in $3, we’ll use it to buy placards for the thousands of supporters showing up at our events all across Texas.
If you give $30, we can buy three dozen clipboards to make sure our campaign’s thousands of volunteers have the resources they need.
And if you can afford to donate $50, it covers a half a tank of gas in James’ truck to keep him on the road meeting with and talking to voters.
Running a campaign that goes everywhere and talks to every Texan willing to have a conversation takes a lot of resources, and our expenses add up quickly.
But unlike the super PACs we have to compete with, we don’t have unlimited dark money. It makes it that much more important that we use every dollar as efficiently as possible.
