American agriculture is the pride of the agricultural world.

And Illinois is the soybean farming capital of our country, friend.

Over 43,000 strong soybean farmers call our state home.

It is even our official state bean!

Donald Trump doesn’t know that, but he should. Because his reckless tariffs and trade wars have many of our soybean farmers on the brink of bankruptcy.

I’m leading the Illinois delegation in demanding that Trump end his fanatical agricultural trade war and give relief to the men and women who feed and fuel our country. And I hope you’ll stand with us.

Because of Trump, soybean exports in Illinois are down nearly 20% on the year, a figure that’s wholly unsustainable.

We’re months into this chaos, and Trump’s trade war has done nothing but raise prices on American consumers and crush the economy of big and small family farms alike. In fact, farm bankruptcies have nearly doubled from last year.

Illinois farmers are the hardest working people that I’ve met. They don’t deserve this.

“America First” is ending this chaos and actually making a deal that does right by our farmers before it’s too late. So let’s make some noise.
