On Tuesday night, we sent a message loud and clear to the MAGA GOP: you have squandered your chance to lead; you have chosen instead to reward billionaires and punish working class people. 

But not every result was a landslide for Democrats. And in my state of New Hampshire, the equation is a bit more complicated. 

In a competitive New Hampshire State House district that went for Biden in 2020 and then Trump in 2024, the Republican candidate is currently leading by a mere 13 votes:

13 votes. This is how competitive elections are in New Hampshire. 

And frankly, I take this as a cautionary tale: to win my district—which is non-negotiable if Dems are to retake control of the U.S. House—we must work to earn every single vote. 

That means taking nothing for granted in what could be the most competitive race of 2026.

The difference between victory or defeat in NH-01 could truly come down to a handful of votes: a nightmare scenario for Dems and one that I am working hard every day to avoid.

Tuesday's wins are inspiring and we should celebrate. But it is also time to double down and build on this momentum. Will you please chip in anything you can spare to my campaign today to help make a clean sweep of MAGA this Midterm and avoid a nightmare “13 votes short” scenario?
