John, here's the latest on Republicans' government shutdown:

FIRST: Congressional Republicans refused to work with Democrats to extend critical health care tax credits and keep the government open.

THEN: The federal government shut down, more than 750,000 federal workers are going without pay, and millions of Americans are seeing their health care premiums skyrocket.

NOW: The Trump administration is cutting SNAP benefits — forcing 42 MILLION Americans to go hungry.

It's unforgivable. American families should not be paying the price for this shutdown.

But here's the good news: Democratic pro-choice women are showing us what real leadership looks like. From fighting to protect crucial welfare programs to standing up to dangerous disinformation, EMILYs List women are doing the work Republicans refuse to do. 

The only way we'll restore sanity in Washington is by flipping the U.S. House — and that means electing more Democratic pro-choice women in 2026.
