VIDEO OF THE DAY: Trump finally snaps and freaks out after election loss

After "affordability" became the word of the week following Democrats' decisive victories in the 2025 elections, Donald Trump blew his top when he was pushed on the price of Thanksgiving dinner by reporters, leading to the quote that will launch a thousand attack ads: “So I don't want to hear about the affordability!”

FBI informant who lied about Bidens quietly released from jail, sparking Trump pardon fears
Independent investigator Jaqueline Smith discovered that Alexander Smirnoff, who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about a fake story alleging that President Biden and his son Hunter Biden had received millions of dollars in bribes from a Ukrainian energy company and had committed millions of dollars in tax fraud as part of Rep. Comey’s witch-hunt against the Biden family, was quietly let out of jail on "furlough" months ago and nobody has any idea where he is. This is just the latest assault on the rule of law by the Trump regime, which has made it VERY clear that the law exists solely to be used to prosecute their political enemies and undesireable minorities.

Arkansas farmer takes on pro-hunger Republican Senator

Hallie Shoffner for Senate: Millions of Americans are going hungry without their SNAP benefits, and Senator Tom Cotton thinks they should STAY hungry. He’s voted against the Farm Bill - legislation that helps fight hunger in the U.S. - twice because he doesn’t care about feeding people. As a farmer, Hallie Shoffner cares very deeply about feeding people, and she knows the hard way what it means to have to fight like hell for everything you have and STILL get hammered by an economy that’s rigged against you — a system rigged by people like Tom Cotton. As senator, she'll fight that rigged system every day. Will you chip in to help kickstart the motor on her campaign and kick one of the worst of the worst Republicans out of the Senate for good?

Democrats make a new offer to end the shutdown, but Republicans aren't buying it
In a savvy move, Senate Democrats extended an olive branch to Republicans, proposing a one-year extension of expiring Affordable Care Act subsidies alongside a package of funding measures to reopen the government. Republicans immediately said no, of course, because they know that Democrats would like nothing more than to have the same fight over healthcare subsidies weeks before the 2026 midterm elections. But it shows that we're the ones willing to negotiate and compromise, while Republicans would rather people starve than stop people's healthcare premiums from skyrocketing.

Biden discussed potential Israeli war crimes in Gaza. He kicked the can to Trump
In the final weeks of his administration, President Joe Biden personally considered new American intelligence about Israel’s devastating offensive in Gaza that prompted concerns that American and Israeli officials were violating U.S. and international law – then rejected suggestions from advisers to reduce American involvement in the war, three former U.S. officials told HuffPost.

Trump approves pardon for former NYPD officer convicted in Chinese government scheme
President Donald Trump has approved a pardon for Michael McMahon, the White House said Friday, a retired New York City police officer who was convicted in 2023 for his role in stalking a New Jersey family on behalf of the Chinese government. The White House praised the former New York Police Department sergeant for his law enforcement service, touting his commendations and service in the aftermath of September 11, 2001, and cast Trump’s decision to pardon him as one of fairness because of what it said were “issues” with his trial.
