On Tuesday, American voters sent a LOUD message to Trump and his cronies that they’ve had enough. We no longer are going to stand by as families starve, healthcare premiums skyrocket, and the price of everyday goods continue to rise.

In response, Trump deviated from his own messaging to urge Republicans to end the government shutdown. However, instead of calling on them to do so by addressing the impending healthcare crisis, he stated that they should pass legislation that would make it “impossible to beat us.” This comes as Trump continues to use SNAP as a bargaining chip by illegally refusing to release the funds allocated to keep the program running through a government shutdown.

This is the MAGA way: Attempt to evade accountability by undermining our democracy.

Trump knows that his party is in trouble – and that is why he is calling on Republicans to “terminate the filibuster,” and “pack” the Supreme Court. To save our nation, we must maintain the momentum that we saw on Election Day.
