While half a million Nevadans struggle to put food on the table or afford health care, Governor Joe Lombardo is in Washington, D.C., wining and dining with $5,000-a-plate donors.

That’s right, as families lose critical SNAP food assistance and face skyrocketing health insurance premiums, Lombardo chose to jet across the country for a fundraiser hosted by Trump allies. His trip comes just days after Donald Trump endorsed him for reelection.

Instead of fighting to restore food benefits or protect affordable health care, Lombardo is too busy kissing Trump’s ring and collecting checks from out-of-state millionaires.

Nevadans are paying the price for Lombardo and Trump’s cruel agenda:

• Food assistance was slashed, leaving hundreds of thousands of families with less to eat.

• Healthcare premiums are skyrocketing, with some individuals seeing costs increase by as much as $18,000 per year.

• Jobs lost and services disrupted as the federal shutdown drags on.

Lombardo could have stayed home to lead during a crisis, but he didn’t and won’t. He put his campaign and Trump’s approval ahead of Nevada families.
