John,

Praising God through singing is an inextricably integral part of worship.

Yet, yesterday, as churches held Sunday worship services, they were banned from singing.

Under the guise of a Coronavirus regulation, California issued an edict that “places of worship must . . . discontinue singing.”

The biblical mandate to “Make a joyful noise to the Lord” and “Come into his presence with singing!” – BANNED.

At the ACLJ, we have spent decades defending religious liberty – all the way to the Supreme Court. To think that singing in church would be banned in 2020 is literally UNTHINKABLE. Churches have gone to extreme degrees to protect their congregants from the Coronavirus.

But in an effort to reshape society, the radical Left has targeted them.

It’s a blatant violation of our religious free exercise and free speech. NOTHING should be allowed to trample our constitutional rights.

At the ACLJ, we are about to file a MAJOR lawsuit that could quickly head to the Supreme Court. But we need you to quickly take action with us before more of our God-given constitutional rights are ripped away.

Sign Our Petition: Don’t Ban Singing in Church.
