After three days of counting ballots, I am excited to share that my opponent has conceded and we are claiming victory!
While there are still outstanding votes and every vote should be counted, I am comfortably leading by more than four points, and we feel confident that we will stay ahead.
This is a huge success, and I couldn’t have done it without you.
Our campaign has been about people, not politics. We focused on the real issues facing our communities rather than partisan fights. My work has always been about bringing communities together, even in times of national chaos and division, to reaffirm our values of honesty, empathy, and kindness, and get big things done.
Despite one of the most expensive waves of corporate-funded attack ads in history, voters saw through the noise and stood up for progress and collaboration. They chose partnership over partisanship and substance over cynicism.
I’m deeply grateful for the trust the voters in Gig Harbor, Bremerton, Key Peninsula, and Port Orchard have placed in me, and I’m excited to continue working together in the year ahead to deliver practical, bipartisan solutions that make life more affordable, strengthen our schools, and protect access to quality health care.
