John,
Authoritarianism is on the rise — and it’s never been more urgent for us
to build power together.
That’s why Pramila launched the Resistance Lab, a grassroots training
series to help people like you understand how democracies fall, how
everyday people have fought back with nonviolent resistance, and what we
can do right now to resist authoritarianism in our own communities.
Our next training is coming up on Sunday, November 16, and you can attend
virtually OR host a local training session with your friends, family, or
community. [ [link removed] ]Click here to RSVP here or sign up to host a training now!

This is not your average Zoom meeting. Resistance Lab was developed with
global experts in democratic backsliding and non-violent resistance
movements around the world, in combination with Pramila’s 20+ years of
frontline experience organizing for justice.
You’ll walk away with:
* A deeper understanding of how authoritarianism rises
* Proven tactics used by nonviolent resistance movements to fight back
* Immediate, concrete actions you can take to organize in your community
And if you’re thinking about hosting a session but not sure you’re
qualified, don’t worry! You don’t need to be an expert — just someone
who’s passionate about standing up against authoritarianism.
When you sign up to host, we’ll send you everything you need: tech help,
discussion guides, and a step-by-step agenda. Just pick a spot (your home,
a café, a community center, etc.), and a way to stream the Zoom session (a
TV and computer work great). We’ll handle the rest!
More than 15,000 people in all 50 states have already joined the
Resistance Lab. Whether you’re joining solo or bringing your community,
this training is for you. So please spread the word, invite your people,
and help build this resistance movement together.

November 16th.
In solidarity,
Team Jayapal
