Last week, to the surprise of no one, the already fragile ceasefire in Gaza was broken by Netanyahu.
Israel launched heavy air strikes that killed over 100 people, most of them women and children, and then declared the ceasefire restored shortly after.
While Netanyahu continues to act with impunity, Trump defended the strikes — insisting that “nothing is going to jeopardize” the truce. This is exactly how atrocities are normalized: when those in power excuse them instead of condemning them.
