This week, Congressman Jared Golden announced that he will not be running for re-election in 2026 in order to prioritize his family.

We couldn’t be prouder of Jared for his steadfast leadership for Blue Dog PAC and the people of Maine, his impeccable character, and fierce independence.

From his service in the Marines to his time in Congress, Jared has exemplified what it means to be a true patriot. He showed Democrats a new path forward to win in rural America, and we are deeply grateful for him.
