This is alarming: New reports say the Trump Administration used “bully-boy” tactics to derail a global climate deal to cut shipping pollution.
According to diplomats who were there, Trump officials approached country representatives during coffee breaks and threatened to ban them from entering the United States if they did not do what Trump wanted.
That’s not diplomacy — that’s mob-like intimidation. And it’s a dangerous precedent for how our nation engages with the rest of the world.
We need leaders who believe in cooperation, science, and integrity. Not threats and fear.
