John,
Not long ago, socialism was a fringe idea—something whispered on college campuses and pushed by Bernie Sanders die-hards. We were told it was just a fad.
But the numbers don’t lie: it is taking root.
A Gallup survey shows support for capitalism slipping. Another poll found voters warming to “democratic socialism” after a few clever talking points.
Meanwhile, far-left politicians like Zohran Mamdani and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez openly embrace the ideology that crushed nations like Cuba and Venezuela. In Minneapolis, Omar Fateh’s radical brand came dangerously close to the mayor’s office.
Today, socialism is one of the most pressing threats to the future prosperity of our country, and it is spreading like a disease.
That’s why I signed a bipartisan resolution condemning socialism as the failed ideology it is—one that leads to poverty, government tyranny, and human misery.

No matter how they dress it up—"democratic,” “equitable,” "fair"—socialism always ends the same way: fewer choices, lower wages, empty shelves, government control, and ordinary people forced to beg the state for permission.
I will never let that happen here. I hope you will stand with me.
