Team,
Democracy and the rule of law won big this week when Jay Jones soundly defeated far-right incumbent Jason Miyares in Virginia. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have another Democratic Attorney General joining the ranks.
Let’s savor this moment — we worked hard for it, and Virginians are going to have an Attorney General who will fight for them.
Tuesday’s results across the country are also a very promising sign for the midterms next year, when we have over 30 Attorney General elections on the ballot. That includes races in critical swing states like Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin — and red-to-blue flip opportunities in states like Kansas and Iowa that are now even more in reach.
This grassroots team made it possible to win in Virginia, and we’re counting on your continued support to elect Dem AGs next year. Together, we can elect Dem AGs across the country and bolster their efforts in court to stop Trump.
Will you donate now to DAGA to keep up this momentum and elect Dem AGs? [[link removed]]
