This is the new strategy that many on the extreme-right, including those in positions of power, are adopting: “If you can’t beat em kill em.”
Already we’ve seen this strategy begin to play out. Just last month a South Carolina Supreme Court judge who ruled against Trump had her home burn down in a suspicious massive explosion that many suspected was arson.
The reason why they are resorting to this is because the left is making a comeback in the fight for our nation's courts. On Tuesday, Defend our Courts helped orchestrate a landslide victory that will all but guarantee Democratic control for the next decade. It sent a resounding message to MAGA: Don’t f*** with our courts.
MAGA can’t win these judicial fights when voters are educated on the stakes of what right-wing capture of our judiciary entails. They can try to circumvent the voters' will and win through violence but in the long run that strategy will only alienate them with the American people.
These courts are the only thing standing in the way of the full implementation of Trump’s agenda and if we can keep up the pressure and keep pulling off victories in supreme court races like we just did in Pennsylvania - we will survive these next three years of Trump and reclaim America.
