Friend, Speaker Mike Johnson is running out of time. For more than a month, he’s refused to swear in Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva – the final vote needed to force consideration of a bipartisan discharge petition demanding that the FBI release the Epstein files in full. But Johnson’s stalling can’t last much longer. With the government still shuttered, Democrats are leading the charge to pass a funding deal that restores health care subsidies for millions of Americans – something House Republicans deliberately left out. Their efforts have put mounting pressure on Johnson, whose refusal to act has left him boxed in. Once a responsible agreement is reached, the House will have to reconvene – and Johnson will have no choice but to swear in Rep.-elect Grijalva, setting up the vote he’s been desperate to avoid. And it’s no mystery why Johnson is stalling… According to new reporting from The New Republic, senior Republican officials have privately admitted that the Epstein files are potentially worse for Trump than previously thought. Reporters and former Trump insiders now allege that the photos and documents in the FBI’s possession could expose Trump’s deep personal ties to Epstein – evidence that even his closest allies fear could destroy what’s left of his credibility.[1] This fight is about transparency, accountability, and truth – and Republicans are terrified of all three. Add your name now to demand that Congress vote to release the Epstein files immediately. The public deserves to know what the FBI found, no matter how politically explosive it may be.
The pressure is working. Every signature builds momentum for a vote that could finally break the GOP’s wall of silence. Let’s make sure Johnson can’t bury the truth any longer. In solidarity, People For the American Way
