Through Dairy Management Inc. (DMI), the dairy industry spends hundreds of millions promoting the image of dairy as natural and kind. But our footage told a very different story—and people were outraged. More than 37,000 supporters signed our petition to demand transparency and real change.
On October 29, our staff and volunteers went to DMI's Illinois headquarters to deliver your petitions. DMI refused to accept them—but we made sure our voices were heard, sending them by email and peacefully protesting outside their offices.
