While Democrats in Washington, DC continue to vote against opening the government, the very real cost of the shutdown is beginning to be felt by veterans all across our district.

As of November 1st, Nevadans across Nevada’s 4th Congressional District woke up to find it harder to provide for their families. Even more startling is that veterans' benefits all across the country are experiencing delays or loss of benefits. At this point, the goal of Democrats in Congress seems to be inflicting as much pain as possible on America’s heroes in order to achieve their political objectives.

Democrats in Washington are angry that President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill helped to end funding of healthcare for illegal immigrants. Now, our veterans cannot access critical services because Democrats have chosen to prioritize illegal immigrants over their own voters, American citizens. 

When I'm in Congress, I'll refuse to engage the Democrats in their prioritization of illegal immigrants over American citizens. Radical Democrats have made their choice loud and clear; now we have the opportunity to make ours!
