John —
Veterans Day is next week, a day meant to honor the service of all military veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces.
Sara knows what it means to those who served — her father, a veteran who served during Vietnam, has deeply influenced her personal commitment to veterans' issues.
Her first public campaign event in Milwaukee was a roundtable conversation with a group of military veterans, talking about issues including job training, benefits, health care, mental health issues including PTSD and suicide, as well as the Trump administration’s cuts to VA programs.
Ahead of Veterans Day, please add your name if you believe that veterans and their families deserve every benefit for serving our country.

More than 300,000 veterans call Wisconsin home, and we’re not doing enough for them. Some of the state’s programs for veterans are restricted to those who served more than six months — even if a member served in wartime, if the duration of their service was less than six months and one day, they don’t qualify for some benefits.
Sara wants to change that. If, like her, you think we have a sacred obligation to our veterans to take care of them after they come back from service, please add your name.
