On the campaign trail, I've met more parents, teachers, mental health professionals, and kids than I can count. Yet despite their many differences across the state, there's been one big issue on which they all could agree: 

Kids and teens are facing a mental health crisis, and social media and AI are only making it worse.

As a dad to three amazing young women – and first-generation digital natives – I know firsthand how tough it can be to protect our kids on the web.

The internet has transformed the world within my lifetime. We're still navigating uncharted waters, and that transformation is only accelerating. So now more than ever, we can't afford for our leaders to shy away. And as governor, my No. 1 responsibility will be to keep Colorado's kids out of harm's way. 

My campaign is guided by the belief that we all share a responsibility to look out for one another and the next generation, whether that's in the classroom, on the street, or online. And since this is a people-powered campaign, every member has a role to play – including you, friend.
