It shouldn't take you more than a minute or so, but before you click that link, I want to make sure we're all on the same page: 

The 2026 Affordable Care Act open enrollment period just started – and over 22 million working Americans, including about 216,000 people in Washington state, are now confronted with health care costs that have more than DOUBLED on average, if not worse.

That means in the richest country on Earth, millions of working folks might not be able to afford health insurance next year.

I'm talking about families with kids. Retirees who aren’t eligible for Medicare yet. Small-business owners, farmers – they'll just have to skip routine check-ups, necessary prescriptions, and lifesaving treatments. It's a disgrace.

By refusing to address this crisis, that is the avoidable reality that Donald Trump and Republicans are more than happy to accept, and they even let the government shut down over it. 

But friend, I am not.

I played a critical role in getting ACA premium subsidies across the finish line in 2021 and extending them in 2022. And for the past few months, I've been fighting day in and day out to pass legislation to save them and keep families' health care premiums from skyrocketing..

Yet since the GOP Senate majority keeps stonewalling my efforts to save affordable health care access at every turn, I need to make certain that keeping up this fight is what supporters like you want to see.

Will you please let me know by joining my focus group before the end of the day? I'm going to stay in this fight, but I want to be sure I'm doing so in the best interests of people like you and your family.
