Friend,

I joined WCPT 820 AM earlier this week to discuss what I’m fighting for right now – protecting healthcare, reopening the government, and demanding better for our communities.

I’m speaking with folks everyday who are making the impossible decision of choosing between paying for their sky-high healthcare premiums or putting food on the table.

And while millions of working families, children, veterans, and federal workers pay the price of the longest government shutdown in history, this administration is doing nothing to stop it.

It’s cruel, plain and simple.

There’s a glimmer of hope: On Election Day from Virginia to California, voters made their dissatisfaction heard loud and clear as Democrats were elected up and down the ballot.

Reclaiming the House majority next year is a key step in holding this administration accountable, and we need to keep the momentum strong. I’m facing multiple GOP challengers who want to stick to the status quo – not do what’s best for IL-13.

If you’re with me, and you’re able to chip in $3, it would go a long way toward protecting this seat and ending this administration’s cruelty.
