John:

Good morning.

The House and Senate are both out this week. This is officially the longest shutdown in government history. Liberals in the Senate have started ([link removed]) admitting ([link removed]) that the shutdown is their only leverage ([link removed]) point, after denying that was the case for weeks. The current House-passed Continuing Resolution (CR) expires on November 21. Meaning, if the Senate takes up and passes the House passed CR and the President signs it, the Congress would have two weeks to find another path forward on spending before the government once again goes into a shutdown.

President Trump and his administration, including the Department of War, Department of Homeland Security, and State Department, have been targeting vessels and shipments in the Caribbean carrying massive amounts of drugs that eventually end up on the streets and into the bodies of Americans.

In one such case, to demonstrate the enormity of the problem, Breitbart news ran a story ([link removed]) titled, “Exclusive: ICE Director Lyons Provides Inside Look at the New War on Cartels”. This article revealed an astonishing story about an operation that intercepted such a large amount of chemicals used in the manufacture of controlled substances that, “...it would take 24 semi-tractor trailers to move the barrels to a secure location for storage.”

President Trump, at the start of his administration, designated ([link removed]) cartels and other organizations as Foreign Terrorist Organizations which has opened the door for engagement. President Trump recently shared a video ([link removed]) of a targeted strike on a vessel carrying drugs. “The strike resulted in 11 terrorists killed in action. No U.S. Forces were harmed in this strike. Please let this serve as notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs into the United States of America. BEWARE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Seems like this would go without denunciation, but somehow, liberals in Congress have found a way to be upset with this.

Senator Ruben Gallego appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” to complain that the U.S. military strikes ([link removed]) were “murder.”

The President is taking action to defend his country from harmful, foreign drugs that fuel gangs, human trafficking, and dangerous criminal activity in America. The Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, went on CBS ([link removed]) and explained that, “Interdiction doesn’t work..you want to stop these drug cartels, you have to make clear to them they’re not going to get their boats here…President Trump won’t allow these boats to flood America with poisonous drugs killing our people indefinitely."

P.S. Last night CPI hosted their third annual Bellator Awards where Steve Bannon was the keynote speaker. He posted clips of his speech on his “Bannon’s WarRoom ([link removed]) ” X account.
