week: NAFCU makes advocacy push for CU priorities
While the House and
Senate remain working in their home districts and states this week, NAFCU's
award-winning advocacy team is gearing up to keep focus on credit union priorities
needed in the next round of coronavirus relief. The House previously passed its
version of Phase 4 relief; the Senate is expected to begin work on its package when lawmakers return next week.

(IFR) related to Regulation X, which clarified mortgage servicers do not violate
the regulation's provisions by offering certain coronavirus-related payment
deferral options, and how the bureau can provide more relief to credit unions amid the coronavirus pandemic.

CFPB
launches week-long event on consumer protection
The CFPB is launching
a week-long virtual event, Consumer Financial Protection Week, that will focus
on how the bureau is protecting consumers in the financial marketplace, address
issues consumers are facing today, and inform consumers of how they can communicate
with the bureau on financial services issues.
