That means NY-21 is an open seat, and we now have an even stronger chance of winning here and delivering results for the North Country.

Let’s not forget that our momentum was so strong that, after securing the nomination in the special election and showing our opponents what we had accomplished in just a few months, they decided to keep Elise Stefanik in Congress. Now, she’s running for governor, and leaving this seat completely open.
While Stefanik is abandoning the North Country to further her political ambitions, I’m not a career politician – and I think that’s a good thing. I’m not running for this seat for power or money. I’m running to fight for working families in the North Country, just like you and me.
