Will the coronavirus spell the end of the shopping mall? The classroom? The office? Neoliberalism? Globalization? Your career? Will this be the end of civilization as we know it?

Let's face it . . . social media is shaping our culture, our politics, our lives in ways we never could have foreseen. More and more people are hooked on it, scrolling for countless hours through a vast mire of misinformation . . . forming their opinions and actions on baseless, often dangerous nonsense . . . letting themselves become unwitting pawns in someone else's sordid game.

Our world operates increasingly through this volatile medium . . . for the sake of both truth and sanity, it's time to admit that the only solution is to scale back drastically. Every one of us is endowed with the power to reason. We can see our way out of psychological servitude . . . but only if we can think for ourselves.

Don't let social media take control of your life . . . become a warrior of the Mental Liberation Front and take back your mental space by force.

September is fast approaching, and with it the anniversary of Occupy Wall Street. Nine years later, amid the coronavirus pandemic and the Black Lives Matter protests, the failures of our political, economic and social order have been laid bare like never before . . . sweeping systemic change must take place if we are to avoid further catastrophe.

We are in an era of narrative collapse, and we can rewrite the story! That's why come September 17th we must . . .

Refuse. Resist. Reboot. #ReOccupy.
