Two immersive experiences are set to enchant Nottingham art lovers next summer - Beyond Monet and Beyond Van Gogh. Bringing the work of a pair of iconic artists to life in mesmerising and moving fashion, the exhibitions use sweeping projections, vibrant colours and stirring music.
Cutting-edge technology transforms hundreds of works by the legendary French impressionist painters, bringing together lesser known canvases with some of their most famous paintings, including Poppies, Water Lillies, The Starry Night, Sunflowers and Terrace of a Café at Night.
 Remembrance Sunday & Armistice Day

The traditional Remembrance Service takes place at the city's war memorial at Victoria Embankment. The ceremony will begin at 10.45am with a parade comprising Armed Forces personnel, cadets, and veterans, followed by the wreath laying and two-minute silence.
Music will be provided by the Nottinghamshire Band of The Royal Engineers, accompanied by the Nottingham Hospitals Choir. People wishing to pay their respects and watch the service are very welcome.
Tue 11 November Old Market Square
To mark Armistice Day, there will be a short Service of Remembrance on the steps of the Council House. Commencing at 10.55am with the two-minute silence at 11am, there will be readings and prayers from Tom Huggon, Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire, Pastor Idy Samuel, Lord Mayor’s Chaplin, and Cllr Neghat Khan, Leader of Nottingham City Council.
The Last Post will be played on the bugle by Alexander Gill, a student from Nottingham High School. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Tickets are priced at £2 for adults and £1 for children (plus booking fees). Nottingham Castle annual pass holders will need to purchase tickets for entry. No concessions.

Visitors can also enjoy breathtaking views of the city from the towering Observation Wheel, step inside the famous Ice Bar - returning with a brand-new theme for 2025 - and soak up the atmosphere at the cosy bars and festive Christmas Market.
Planning to visit Winter Wonderland at a weekend? It's just £4.50 to park all day at Broad Marsh car park on a Saturday or Sunday (until Sunday 1 February).
