Discover How We Resist Together
UNITED for Intercultural Action is thrilled to announce the official launch of our 2025 anti-fascism campaign: “We Have Resistance At Home.” As we commemorate November 9th—the anniversary of Kristallnacht—we’re reimagining what resistance looks like in our communities.
Since 1993, our annual November 9th campaign has raised awareness of fascism and antisemitism. But this year, we’re shifting the conversation. We’re centering care.
A Different Kind of Resistance
Most of us grow up on stories of heroic resistance—individuals chosen to fight injustice, battles won through individual courage. But what about the resistance built quietly in our neighborhoods? The resistance sustained through networks, shared knowledge, and community care? The work—often invisible—that holds movements together?
That’s what we’re celebrating this year.
Drawing inspiration from Feminist Antifascism: Counter-Publics of the Common by Ewa Majewska, our campaign shines a light on the often-sidelined approaches to combating fascism. We’re honoring communities and actors whose work has been dismissed for too long—the care workers, the organizers, the knowledge-sharers, the network-builders. Because when we only see heroic, masculine forms of resistance, we miss the fact that resistance in our time is rooted in collective action, care work, and everyday solidarity.

The Invitation
This campaign celebrates resistance that looks like us—resistance built in care, community, and courage. It honors those who organize at the neighborhood level, who build networks quietly and persistently, who share knowledge and gather resources for collective wellbeing.
As fascism and antisemitism continue to pose global threats, we affirm that the antidote is not found in heroic individual action alone, but in the collective power of communities practicing solidarity, visibility, and care.
