Dear Reader,
In 1945 the Labour Government kept ID cards beyond wartime necessity.
Winston Churchill, our greatest Prime Minister, scrapped them in 1952 very shortly after returning to office.
In 2006 Labour tried again to introduce ID cards. We fought them every step of the way, and scrapped the pilot in 2010.
Now for a third time a Labour Government is trying to force ID cards upon the country. And for a third time we'll be there to stop them.
Help us take a stand for your freedom and privacy today by signing our petition against Digital ID. ( [link removed] )

I know it’s tempting to feel powerless in the face of Labour’s supermajority.
They have so many MPs and it's easy to think they can do whatever they want.
But working together we can, and we have, forced Labour to back down. And you don't have to go far back to see when.
When Labour withdrew Winter Fuel Payments from vulnerable pensioners last year, we organised over 330,000 petition signatories.
And Labour U-turned. Meaning pensioners this winter won't have to choose between heating and eating.
When they blocked a national inquiry into grooming gangs, we worked with victims. And got him to U-turn again. Putting victims one step closer to genuine justice.
We'll be fighting Labour's Digital ID card scheme every step of the way, until they back down.
Help us in that important fight by signing our petition, and sharing it with your friends and family. ( [link removed] )
