After Democrats won big Tuesday night, Trump admitted that Republicans are
losing the shutdown fight, telling his allies the election results show
"the shutdown has been worse for us than for Democrats."

Millions of Americans are outraged at skyrocketing health insurance
premiums and Trump's attempt to deprive families and children of SNAP
benefits. 

But instead of standing firm, The Washington Post reports that "A handful
of moderate Senate Democrats are considering voting to end what has now
become the country’s longest government shutdown."
