"Waste, fraud, and abuse"
Republicans have kept the government shut down for 37 days because they think it’s “waste, fraud, and abuse” to give healthcare to more than 22 million Americans.
22 million Americans receive ACA subsidies because they don’t get insurance through their job, are too young for Medicare, and not poor enough for Medicaid.1
MAGA wants insurance premiums to double for 22 million Americans on January 1.
Why? Because they’ve been given an assignment to rob Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.
Now, they want to sign onto one, little, extra year of ACA subsidies.
Want to know why? Midterm elections are taking place next year.
They want us to fall for the same old fine-print, tricks, and politics around this.
It is laughable.
