This week, you and other voters reaffirmed a fundamental truth: in America, we choose our leaders, and every election matters. Many jurisdictions across the country reported([link removed]) record voter turnout. And despite decreased federal support (read more in my Axios interview)([link removed]), election officials and poll workers—our democracy’s first responders—successfully administered elections across the country. 
But this is not a moment for rest—this is a crucial pivot point. Continued disinformation, federal overreach([link removed]), intimidation([link removed]), and other threats seek to undermine our free and fair elections, which are a cornerstone of ensuring every single voter has a say over the country’s future. 
We’re working to protect every voter’s right to participate in secure and resilient elections every year, but we face a significant budget gap and need resources now to make the guardrails of our elections strong enough to withstand challenges ahead.

* Give the public solid evidence that the winner won by working across the map directly with election officials to advance post-election audit([link removed]) procedures that check election outcomes, and advocating for audit legislation in states where there are still gaps([link removed]);
* Reach voters with trusted, nonpartisan facts, resources, and tools about elections and voting to help them get past bots and disinformation;
* Support election officials and ensure the frontline folks who administer our elections can do so safely and effectively—we must continue to be a reliable partner.
