Dear John,

If you haven’t heard already, the Trump Administration has announced that they will not provide November’s SNAP benefits. That means 42 million Americans who receive SNAP could be denied food assistance this month, according to Trump’s Department of Agriculture.

The federal government has the authority to cover SNAP benefits in full. Donald Trump has said he will not provide them unless Democrats pass legislation he supports.

I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU: DO YOU THINK AMERICANS SHOULD BE DENIED THEIR NOVEMBER SNAP BENEFITS?*

I am working right now to get government reopened, ensure all SNAP benefits are paid, and lower health care costs. And my office remains open and working for you during the government shutdown.
