Today is day 38 of the government shutdown. That’s 38 days of federal Republicans blaming Democrats, even though they control the House, Senate, AND the White House. That’s 38 days that the GOP could have spent actually working for we the people.

Last month, we saw a huge push of momentum after the No Kings protests in response to these harmful policies and actions that the Trump administration has taken. This week, we saw overwhelming wins for Democrats across the country. Here in Pennsylvania, we voted to retain all three Democratic Supreme Court Justices. This election season has shown us that the country is tired. We are tired of Trump bailing out his allies while dismantling our democracy and harming our loved ones.
