Let's get one thing straight: The USPS will play a central role in November's election. Due to COVID-19, we'll likely see a higher number of people voting-by-mail than ever before. Therefore, it's imperative we have a functioning postal service so ballots are delivered and counted.
Unfortunately, the USPS is under severe financial strain right now. That's why I'm asking Congress to take action and save the USPS. Will you show your support for our national postal service by signing on?
President Trump has made it clear he thinks the USPS is "a joke," and has no intention to saving it. Tell that to the 600,000 USPS employees who process roughly 182 million mail items every single day. The USPS even predates our Constitution; now, it's up to Congress to save it.
