Maryland, we protect our people.

With each passing day our government isn’t open, more Maryland families
are feeling the strain – our people are scared, anxious, and unsure about
what comes next.

But when I ran, I made one promise to Marylanders: Leave No One Behind.

No matter the challenge, I’ve kept that promise – launching relief for
furloughed workers, protecting food assistance, and helping families keep
their health coverage.

That’s what leadership looks like when Washington fails to act: Compassion
backed by action. But sustaining this leadership takes all of us.
