John,
The loss of mobility and the resulting isolation can be devastating for someone. Particularly someone who has been active in their community for generations.
Mother Mary Futch has lived at the same address on Maxwell Street in Detroit for more than 60 years and she recently turned 102 years old. Mother Futch dedicated her life to her family, community, and her church.
But now, without a new ramp for her home, she’s unable to leave the house. And a new ramp will cost $30,000.
Already, a generous donor has pitched in $10,000 toward that $30,000 goal. Can we get Mother Futch the rest of the way?
Click here to donate to Bridging Communities and help our 102 year old beloved neighbor, Mother Mary Futch, remain active in her community.
Thank you for always putting neighbors and community first.
