Here's what they're doing:
- Trump has repeatedly trashed vote-by-mail, despite taking advantage of it himself. Attorney General Bill Barr echoed that it "opens the floodgates to fraud" -- a bogus claim without evidence.
- The GOP is spending $20 million to challenge rules that would ease voting before November, and they're planning to recruit 50,000 "poll watchers" to intimidate voters.
- Trump is attacking the U.S. Postal Service, which is critical to the delivery of mail-in ballots.
- And Republicans in states like Georgia are suppressing the vote by trying to block secretaries of state from sending every voter an absentee ballot application and underfunding election infrastructure.
