When I talk about Medicare for All, I don’t just see it as a healthcare
program.
It’s a small business empowerment plan.
Because when we guarantee healthcare as a human right, we free small
business owners from one of their biggest burdens: paying for expensive
private insurance.
That’s money back in their pockets that they can use to hire workers,
raise wages, or invest in their communities.
The same goes for public schools. Every dollar we invest in our schools is
an investment in the next generation of local entrepreneurs and workers.
Meanwhile, giant corporations keep pitting state and local governments
against each other to see who will grant them the biggest tax breaks. And
politicians keep letting them win.
John, I’d rather
give tax breaks to small businesses than handouts to billion-dollar
corporations that don’t need them.
That’s what our economy could look like if we had leaders willing to say
so — and act on it.
I’m the only candidate in this race who supports Medicare for All, and the
only one who’s never taken a dime from corporate PACs. That’s no
coincidence.
But the health insurance industry and its allies are already bankrolling
my primary opponent to stop this movement from winning.
