President Trump’s administration just told a judge it will partially fund food assistance during the shutdown – but refuses to release the full $5 billion needed to keep SNAP benefits going.

This is unconscionable.

The law is clear – these emergency funds exist precisely to make sure people can eat when Washington fails to do its job. But instead of helping hungry families, Trump’s USDA quietly deleted the rule that allows states to keep SNAP running during shutdowns.

I’m calling on the Trump administration to fully fund SNAP now. Will you add your name to demand that the White House immediately release the $5 billion in emergency SNAP funds?
