Dear Friends,
This week’s elections put two issues front and center. In California, the
most populous state in the country, people voted on measures to preserve
our democracy. In New York City, the city with more Jews than anywhere
else in the nation, voters went to the ballot box with Israel top of mind.
With pro-democracy movements winning across the country, one thing is
clear: the fate of our democracy and the American Jewish relationship with
Israel will both play major roles in the national elections ahead. J
Street will be at the epicenter of this.
If you want to have a voice in preserving our democracy and championing a
pro-Israel, pro-peace foreign policy, we need you to join [ [link removed] ]us from
February 28 to March 3 2026 in Washington, DC for our National Convention
– the largest gathering of our movement in several years.
At a time of major upheaval on both sides of the Atlantic, our movement
will come together to amplify the power we’ve already created. With
engaging speakers from the US, Israel, the Region and beyond,
collaborative sessions with partner organizations, networking
opportunities and the chance to take our advocacy straight to Capitol
Hill, this is a moment you won’t want to miss! We need you there – because
the Convention will shape our work in 2026 and beyond.

J Street is the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy
Americans who want Israel to be secure, democratic and the national home of the
Jewish people. Working in American politics and the Jewish community, we
advocate policies that advance shared US and Israeli interests as well as Jewish
and democratic values, leading to a two-state solution to the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
