Delgado for New York

Thank you for all you're doing to help this campaign. Thanks to your support, we met our October fundraising goals. But today, I'm coming to you with a different ask — will you make a donation to a local New York food bank to help ensure no American goes hungry?

Donate to a Food Bank

The situation is simple. I recently visited a local food bank. I’ve always believed in serving our neighbors, but this time I saw something that’s never a good sign — lots of new faces. Federal employees missing paychecks. Kids whose parents SNAP benefits were suddenly cut. Workers recently laid off. This didn’t necessarily shock me, but it deeply concerned me.

The systems meant to keep people secure are failing. The cost of living keeps rising out of control. Companies are cutting jobs and the government is cutting aid. These twin crises are putting enormous strain on food banks across our state.

As a candidate for governor, I have to call it what it is: inequality fueled by corruption and greed. The same forces I fight daily. Solving these issues will take time, courage, and systemic reform, but even in moments like this, I remain hopeful.

That hope comes from what I witnessed in a lifetime of service. New Yorkers helping New Yorkers. This time was no different. People showing up for one another. That’s how real change begins — when ordinary individuals unite to act.

So today, I’m asking you to take a simple, grounded step that can make an immediate difference. One that will help a neighbor tomorrow. Prove me right, and give these families hope. As we enter the season of giving, please give what you can to this local food bank.

Gratefully,
Antonio Delgado
