In the second half, we'll be joined by our featured guest — Karen Lawrence — who returns to Culture Club to tell us about how she's prepared for the forthcoming publication of her new novel, The Last Midwife, which will be released this month and launched at our special showcase event in London on Saturday 29th November (more about that below).

Published author and Academy member, Karen Lawrence, was our guest speaker at Culture Club back in March, where she spoke about a novel called The Last Midwife which she had been working on and aspired to complete and publish by the end of the year.

We're delighted that Karen has indeed succeeded in her aim — and she will officially launch the novel at our Showcase event in London on Saturday 29th November.
