The results of the 2025 elections confirmed what we’ve always known: When Democratic pro-choice women lead, we win. From school boards to governors’ offices, voters responded to candidates who are rooted in their communities and focused on the issues that matter most.
That’s why today, we’re launching EMILYs List’s Blueprint to Win — a data-driven, strategic plan to turn the momentum from our 2025 victories into major wins up and down the ballot in 2026 and beyond.
This Blueprint is built on the fundamentals that have powered our hardest-fought wins:
- Community-based recruitment: The strongest leaders come from the communities they represent. We are actively recruiting and endorsing bold candidates who are deeply connected to the challenges their communities face — and are ready to lead.
- Research-driven strategy: In the aftermath of the 2024 election, EMILYs List Action conducted a comprehensive national research project to understand the real economic pressures voters are experiencing — and what they want from Democratic leadership. This research shapes how we recruit, message, and mobilize to win.
- Campaign support from day one: No campaign is one-size-fits-all. Our staff partners directly with candidates and their teams — often from the day they launch to the moment polls close — helping build operations, sharpen messaging, and drive turnout. We don’t just endorse. We build winning campaigns.
This is how we take back the U.S. House.
This is how we secure state power.
This is how we win in 2026 — and beyond.
But we must scale this work now, because the path to victory runs directly through the organizing and candidate support we build over the next 365 days.
