John,
Tuesday is Veterans Day--a day set aside to honor the heroes who have sacrificed so much in defense of our country and our liberty.
One of those heroes, Private Joe Karlen, nearly drowned in the English Channel before he could help liberate Europe from the Nazis. In Normandy, Joe was badly wounded by a mortar, shot in the arm and the head, injured by a hand grenade, and nearly killed by a "Bouncing Betty" land mine.
But he made it home alive.
This past summer, 40 Days for Life campaign director Steve Karlen trekked through the French countryside to retrace his grandfather's footsteps in search of the man who saved Joe's life--and his entire family tree. What Steve discovered in Normandy will astound and inspire you.
Join Steve's stunning journey on an episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast unlike any other.
