During my time in Congress, I saw too many politicians lose their values — lose their core.
They traded truth for lies, access for integrity, and character for power.

Values like honesty, service, courage, fairness, and putting country over party are the backbone of a healthy democracy.
These are the values that built our nation and made America a beacon of freedom for the world.

They’re also the values that guided me — and brought me to a red line — the moment I decided to put Country First.

Washington, D.C. is in high demand for these values, but sadly, low in supply. Too many leaders find it easier to abandon the truth than to tell it. Too many special interests find it more profitable to divide Americans than to unite them.

And every time we turn away from our core American values, democracy grows weaker.

That’s why Country First is taking action. We’re working to defend the values that makes us stronger — through grassroots organizing, civic education, Days of Action, and community engagement that empower everyday Americans to reclaim their voice and remind Washington: The American people will not be ignored.

Because when we fight for our values, we strengthen our democracy.
And when we strengthen our democracy, we protect the very idea of America itself.
