As political violence tears through this country, I stood up on the House floor and called out Republicans for blocking gun safety. And instead of engaging in debate, a MAGA Republican sneered: “You better be careful, boy.”

Let me be clear—this was a racist threat meant to shut me up.

Now, the NRA is piling on, attacking me on Instagram. Of course they are. Because that’s all they have—racism, intimidation, and lies—while gun violence keeps rising in every corner of America.
