Hello, True Texans!

Last week, Fran and I sat down, virtually, with 62 different candidates running for office in Texas. It felt like speed dating for patriots: 15 minutes each, one after another, no filters, no rehearsed lines allowed.

We asked tough questions. We asked about faith. We asked about the issues Texans actually care about: property taxes, border security, and government overreach.

And what we learned gave us hope. There are still sharp, principled Texans stepping up to serve. But there are also some… interesting cases that remind us why our work matters so much.
